Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad you appreciated the research, that's one of the pillars of my book. I focus especially on cancer, as it's projected to become the leading cause of death in the coming years, and it's an area where evidence-based nutrition can make a real difference. Thanks again for your support!
Yes!! There’s actually no cancer in Asian countries where they drink green tea regularly!! None at all. If anyone tells you different they work for big Pharma.
I'm so sorry to hear that Esther. Thank you so much for your interest in my book. I truly appreciate it.
In Delicious Longevity, I place special focus on cancer, it’s a topic very close to my heart. I wrote the book from a place of deep care, combining the most recent and solid scientific evidence with a practical, compassionate approach to support real-life healing and prevention. I truly believe it can be of help on your journey.
Wishing you strength, clarity, and continued healing. I'm sending you a DM.
Thank you so much for your interest in my book Anne, I truly appreciate it! It’s been receiving amazing feedback from the ARC team. One member even told me it was the best nutrition book she had ever read, which was incredibly humbling and encouraging to hear.
I’d absolutely love for you to read it too, and I really hope it brings you as much value as it has to others. I'm sending a DM!
I would so very much like to receive your free book. I have some serious gut issues which have been negated by 4-5 doctors (it’s not celiac, not Crohn’s, not IBS, not allergies to food). Yet I still have gastrointestinal problems. And their last response is it’s stress. The allergist said, “Sometimes we just don’t know (shrug)”
I am so frustrated with Western medicine and the gaslighting and tossing the problem back to me. Square 1 for the 50th time.
I'm really sorry to hear what you’ve been going through Linda, I can feel the frustration in your words, and it’s completely valid.
In Delicious Longevity, I pay special attention to gut health, as it plays such a central role in our overall well-being. In fact, there's an entire chapter dedicated to it, where I dive deep into the science and even debunk some of the common myths that often lead to confusion and misdiagnosis. I truly believe the book could be of great help to you, especially given your experience.
Sending you a DM and wishing you real answers and relief soon.
I'd love to read your book. I'm vegetarian and struggle with finding the right foods for me. I also feel your comment on diet and how it can play a part in our emotional regulation because it's never been truer than when I consume milk chocolate. I'm a chocoholic and I do feel a difference when I stay off iy versus when I indulge.
Thank you so much for your interest in the book, and I really appreciate you sharing those details with me.
I actually touch on many of the topics you mentioned. There’s a section dedicated to plant-based diets — including common myths, practical recommendations, and how to make them work in real life. I also explore the connection between nutrition and mood, and how we can support emotional balance through what we eat. And yes... I cover the chocolate topic too!
It sounds like the book could really resonate with you, and I’d love for you to read it. I'm sending you a DM!
That’s very kind of you to say, thank you! Right now, I’m really enjoying helping others through my newsletter. It feels meaningful, and it’s been a great way to connect and share value.
I turned 47 last March and felt the need to take care more of myself. I read your post and find very helpful and practical. Thank you for your sharing knowledge.
Thank you so much for your message Barok, and happy (belated) 47th! I’m so glad the post resonated with you. Taking care of yourself is such a powerful and beautiful decision. I’m honored to be part of your journey, and I’m here to keep sharing everything I've learnt and keep learning along the way!
Begging for a copy of your book. Having suffered from chronic depression and anxiety for a lifetime, having recently escaped it, feeling myself on a mission to help others. This sounds like such a promising approach. Pills are definitely a crude approach.
Thank you for your interest, Stephen. I talk a lot about mental health in the book, and I’m confident you’ll find it helpful. I completely agree: while pills can be helpful, they’re often just one piece of a much bigger picture. Sending you a DM!
Fairy tales. Seriously. The clue is in the legend of Saint Dymphna. I have two manuscripts, but never published. I don't have the official qualifications. My academic background is in religion and literature, not psychology. So nobody believes me that this works: a close reading and reflection on classic fairy tales. They are intended for instruction.
I am becoming convinced that my hormones are a powerful influence on my anxiety but I do not know where to start because testing is not a viable option to determine remedies to lessen dysregulation. I also know that diet is fundamental, and I have dramatically reduced my carb and processed sugar intake (lost 30 pounds and kept it off for the lady five years with intermittent fasting and keto/carnivore)…until the cravings hit and I seem hopelessly addicted to the sugar. I am interested to find out what solutions your book offers. It may be a way to educate myself and hopefully successfully implement lasting strategies.
Hi Montyg, thank you for sharing your journey, it’s clear you’ve already made impressive progress with your health. The book covers exactly the areas you're exploring: mental health, intermittent fasting, keto, and much more. I truly believe you’ll find tools in it that can support your goals and help you create lasting change. Sending you a DM!
@Sara Redondo, MD :) - This is such a valuable resource! Thank you for translating the science into practical, human centered guidance. I think this is the art of what we practice right. As a therapist, I’ve seen firsthand how these seemingly small shifts like better sleep, intentional movement and mindful nutrition can make a profound difference in emotional well being.
In my clinical work, I often remind clients that while therapy can offer insight and healing, our bodies, our nervous systems, sleep rhythms and gut brain connections are part of that healing equation too. We can't think our way out of what our physiology needs us to feel, nourish and take care of.
I especially appreciate your point about the non transactional nature of these practices—they don’t just fix us, they support us in living more fully. And this is what we understand to be important in life and helping one another deal with the human condition. Thank you for the important work you’re doing to make holistic mental health more accessible.
I'm very much looking forward to reading more and continuing this conversation on integrated wellbeing. It makes me happy :)
Thank you so much for this thoughtful comment dear Bronce. It truly touched me, and I couldn’t agree more.
As a physician, I’ve seen how critical it is to look beyond prescriptions and begin to view healing as an integrated process that includes our physiology, our lifestyle, and the way we relate to our bodies. Like you, I deeply believe that these “small” shifts—sleep, movement, mindful nutrition—are not small at all. They’re foundational.
I’m really glad you found the post valuable. This is exactly why I started this newsletter—to make the science behind emotional well-being feel human, relevant, and practical. I’ll definitely be writing more on integrated mental health and would love to continue this conversation with you and others in the community.
Thank you so much for your kind words Michelle, they truly mean the world to me.
I started both the newsletter and the book with my whole heart, hoping to make a real difference, and receiving feedback like yours is genuinely moving.
I’d be honored to share the book with you — I truly hope it brings you clarity, inspiration, and support on your wellness journey. I'm sending you a DM!
I’d like to receive copy ! I work with children in hospital as therapist and I advocate for them not to be medicated as much as I could , so I highly admire your work ❤️🌺
Thank you so much for your kind words, Patricia, they truly mean a lot to me.
The book emphasizes the vital role that nutrition plays in our overall health, including its impact on long-term wellness and prevention. I genuinely believe that food can be one of our most powerful tools for healing and balance.
I’d be honored to share a copy with you, and I hope it brings inspiration and practical value to both your personal and professional journey. Sending you a DM!
Wow. Great information. I would very much like to receive your book! I have been interested in focusing on food as medicine since traditional medicine has not been very easily accessible or helpful in my case.
Thank you so much for your kind words Savita, I'm truly glad the information resonated with you.
Your interest in food as medicine is very much in line with the core message of my book, Delicious Longevity. I wrote it to offer a practical, science-based approach to nutrition and long-term health — especially for those who haven’t always found the support they need through conventional medicine.
In fact, one of the chapters is dedicated to the ancestral wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Ayurveda, and how their principles can complement modern nutritional science in powerful and accessible ways.
I’d be honored to share a copy with you and hope it offers clarity, inspiration, and real value on your path to wellness. Sending you a DM!
I’d love the book because you sound soooo like you know what you’re talking about and leaving the medical practice because you think they are just peddling pills as a cure is 💯 what I would have done xx
Thank you so much for your message Amber, it truly means a lot to me.
Transitioning into this new journey beyond conventional medical practice wasn’t an easy decision, but I knew I had to follow a more integrative, honest path — one that focuses on root causes and empowers people through knowledge, not just prescriptions. Your words really affirm that choice, and I’m so grateful for that.
I’d be honored to share the book with you. I poured my heart into it, grounding everything in solid science while keeping it practical and real. I truly hope it brings you clarity, inspiration, and a renewed sense of agency over your health. Sending you a DM!
You have reminded me that I really do need to eat more fruit. I'm good on veggies (and avoid processed foods), especially broccoli 🙂, but I definitely need more fruit...
Thank you so much dear Peter, I'm really glad you enjoyed the article.
I'm so glad to hear you're already doing great with veggies and avoiding processed foods, that's a huge step. And when it comes to fruit, even small, consistent changes can make a big difference. Thanks again for your kind words and for taking the time to share, it means a lot!
Brilliant research .. green tea and pumpkin seeds also prevent cancer. Pumpkin seeds help to prevent parasites ! Great info. Thank you.

Thank you for your kind words Sara. I would welcome your book with advice specific to cancer care.
It sounds like something I want to read!

You should have your own practice wher people pay a monthly fee.
That’s very kind of you to say, thank you! Right now, I’m really enjoying helping others through my newsletter. It feels meaningful, and it’s been a great way to connect and share value.
I’m nearly 64,and I need all the good advice I can get.
Hi Stephen, then I hope you find here the value you need. Happy to have you in the community!

Hey Stephen, I am curious to hear how you escaped chronic depression and anxiety. Do you write about this on your Substack?

My academic background is in religion and literature, not psychology. So nobody believes me that this works: a close reading and reflection on classic fairy tales. They are intended for instruction.
I do write about this occasionally on my Substack. But it is hard to present it just in bits and pieces.
Fascinating. Thank you for sharing. I will look up the legend of Saint Dymphna and see if it inspires a read in me.
