This is a strong reminder that blood sugar health is more nuanced than the standard checklist most people are given. Individual responses, early markers, and context matter more than single numbers or general rules.

Exactly. Context and trajectory often reveal far more than a single “normal” result. Glad you're here Dr. Khadija.

Best wishes,

This is such solid information, Sara, as are all of your posts. I especially appreciate how you explain things so clearly and cite everything. As I recover from ovarian cancer treatment, I so appreciate learning about what and why to do all that you suggest to keep the body and mind strong and resilient. Your posts are helping me to recover my strength, keep my inflammation down, and hopefully avoid recurrence. Thank you so much! Amy

Dear Amy, thank you so much. I’m deeply moved that the posts are supporting you through recovery. After cancer treatment, rebuilding strength, lowering inflammation, and caring for metabolic health are such powerful foundations to give the body the best possible internal environment for resilience and healing. Sending you strength as you continue recovering.

Warmly,

Sara
